Good Morning everyone! I really hope you have been enjoying the techniques week. Let me know what you have enjoyed so far. Did you try out the techniques? Don't wait....try it out with me.
Today's technique is the Masking technique, with this technique you can create an overlap of the stamps without the lines running over into each other!
This card is dedicated to my friend Maria Gill! She's the most supportive and amazing friend ever. She stuck with me for our 5k obstacle run! Here's a sneak peek pic of us. Don't mind the sweaty selfie!
Instructions:
1. Ink the stamp ( girl with umbrella from Beautiful You Stampset). Stamp on whisper white.
2. Use paper snips to fussy cut the stamped image.
3. Keep the cut out image ready.
4. On a separate piece of cardstock, stamp the image of the girl. Use the cut out image to cover the image you stamped, and stamp the girl next to the one you already stamped.
5. Keep stampin image and cover the girl each time you stamp near it.
6. Take the stamped cardstock.
7. Use the color pencils to color in the girl. I used basic grey, because I wanted the girls in the background fade, and highlight the girl in the front.
8. Stamp the girl kicking and dancing, fussy cut it and color it in with markers.
9. Finish the card with the extra embellishments and punch cut outs.
NOW FOR THE BONUS TIP!! USE THE FINE TIP GLUE TO COLOR THE GIRL IN!!
IT LEAVES A GLOSSY TEXTURE FEEL TO IT!!
Here's the finished card image!
